Call for Proposals

40th International Self-Directed Learning Symposium (ISDLS)

📅 February 3–5, 2027

 

The ISDLS Planning Committee invites presentation proposals that speak to the scholarship, practice, and lived experience of self-directed learning across diverse contexts. Contributions may be theoretically grounded, empirically informed, practice-based, or dialogic.

 

For the 2027 Symposium, proposals are invited in four categories:

  • Research Presentations

  • Posters

  • Practice Briefs

  • Roundtables

📌 Proposal submissions open: July 1, 2026
📌 Submission deadline: October 15, 2026

 

Graduate student submissions are especially encouraged.
